Seven Weeks

Reily is seven weeks old today. He's sleeping a bit longer at night, which makes his mommy very happy!

Today's Highlight

Gavin was digging around in someone's purse today and dug out a tampon. Everyone was laughing at him as he walked all over the room proudly displaying his treasure!

Christmas Eve

We had Chris' mom, her fiance, and Chris' sister, Rose, over today. Gavin, again, enjoyed tearing into his gifts.

Chris' Family

We spent the day with Chris' family. His grandparents, dad, two sisters and brother were there. Gavin was the star and really got into opening gifts.

Fun in the Snow

Grandpa had a great time pulling Gavin in the snow. We aren't sure whether or not Gavin liked it, but he didn't seem to mind.

Chris' sister, Kelly, had her baby the same day that I had Reily. We finally got the cousins together and snapped a few pictures.

Macy's

Nearly every year my parents have taken us to the Cities to see the Dayton's/Marshall Field's/Macy's 8th floor exhibit at Christmas time. We have to stick with tradition!

We got to spend a day with Roth. Gavin, and the rest of us, just loved seeing him again. Roth really got him smiling and laughing by playing with him.

Christmas Tree

Gavin was just mesmerized by Gramp's Christmas tree. Of course, this is just the moment his Gramp's has been waiting for--for the past 20 years, at least.

Tiny Baby

It is finally Reily's due date today. Maybe he'll finally start opening his eyes once in a while!

Bathtime

It's much easier to just bathe them together. Gavin doesn't mind, he just stays on his end of the tub. It does appear that I have two water babies. They both love bath time.

Family Photo

We tried to get a nice family photo, but Gavin was tired and a bit cranky--he wouldn't give up his paci for anything. Oh well, we'll try again! We won't try again by a Christmas tree, though, he appeared to be rather scared of it. Who knows?!?

Dedication

We had my dad dedicate Reily at his church. My best friend since childhood, McKenya, originally asked my dad to dedicate her son and I thought it would fun to do it together. It was really neat to share that moment.

Gramps

My parents came to our house for Thanksgiving. It was a great day with lots of great food and no one made me lift a finger (my favorite part of the day). Of course, both Reily and Gavin loved having their Gramps here. Reily got to take a nap with him and Gavin actually sat still--something he almost never does--on the couch next to Gramps, watching football (I think).

Thanksgiving

I like the dark meat and since there weren't many people eating with us, I got a leg. My mom thought it would make a great picture...I disagree!

Mowing

Gavin got this lawn mower for his birthday. The weather has been so nice lately that we thought we'd all hang out outside for a while. He loved mowing the driveway.

Uncle Dean

Uncle Dean was able to meet Reily. Of course, Gavin needed some attention, too. It seems that he needs more and more of that lately.

It's Ben's 23rd birthday today. We ended up at my parents house and were able to celebrate with him. Happy Birthday, Ben!
