Picnic & Basball Game

We were invited to attend a picnic for several foster families in the area. Roth's family was a part of the picnic, as well. The family that has two of his older brothers were also there. Roth had not seen these brothers for over three years. It was fun to be a part of that reunion.
Gavin, Roth and Rock.
Giving another hug!
Watching the game on daddy's shoulders.

Kacey

Chris' sister and her family came for a weekend visit. Gavin and Reily had fun with their cousin, Kacey, who was born the same day as Reily.

Gavin is hugging her, not trying to strangle her! He is in to hugging everyone lately.

Tower of Cups

Building this tower of cups is one of Gavin's favorite things to do. Knocking it over is his other favorite thing to do.

Brownies

Gavin enjoyed helping Chris make brownies. I think that they both enjoyed licking the bowl clean.

We Have Teeth

Reily got his first tooth a couple of weeks ago. This past weekend, the second one popped through. This is the first good picture of them that I was able to snap.

The Zoo with the Grandmas

I had a day off, so I called my Aunt and she was taking Molly to a local zoo. I decided to tag along and brought my mom, too! The kids all had a good time, but I think the grandmas enjoyed it even more.

So Helpful

Gavin is so into helping with everything these days. Sometimes it is helpful, sometimes it is cute, sometimes it's just really annoying! Here he is changing the oil on my new car with daddy.

Crazy Hair

This is just after a bath. I think it's time for a haircut.

Cutie Pie

When I was little, a family friend took pictures of me by this tree. Recently, we were in the area, so I stopped to snap a picture of Gavin by the tree. He was full of silly smiles.

All the Kids

Gavin and Daxton.

Recently, I got together with Georgie and McKenya and all of our kids. Next year promises to be really crazy with 4 little ones running around. Left to right - Daxton, Gavin, Reily (not looking), Molly.

Allergy?

Every time Gavin eats ranch dressing his little face turns all red if he's gotten it on his skin. We'd love to stop giving it to him, but it's the only way he will eat any veggies. Also, as you can see, it doesn't seem to bother him at all. I don't know if it's an allergy or just sensitive skin, but it sure looks goofy.

Sound Asleep

Gavin was having a really tough time falling asleep at naptime. Chris peeked in his room to

see if he was finally asleep and he was sound asleep underneath his toddler bed. Whatever works!

Roth is 13!!!

We got to celebrate Roth's birthday today! His new family graciously invited us to his party and we were thrilled to be there. I cannot believe that he's 13 or that this is the 4th birthday we've celebrated with him.

Alex and Corrine

My little cousin, Alex, got married on July 13th. The wedding was a lot of fun and we're really happy for Alex and Corrine.

Ben was one of the groomsmen.
The whole family.

Random Pictures of Reily

Reily is really into reading these days.
He's learning to sit on his own. It doesn't last long, but he's getting there.
Reily just loves his Gramps. Gramps loves him, too, in case you couldn't tell.
Rock on...that's what Chris always says when Reily sucks his fingers like this.

Molly and the Boys

My cousin, Brad, and his family are home for a month from Ireland. Molly is holding her own with all the boys in her life. We've really enjoyed getting to know her a bit.

4th of July

Hope you had a happy 4th!

Our 4th

Every 4th, my dad has a party with the same families. He's done this since I was little. This year, their street was all torn up, so everyone spent the day at our house. It was especially fun this year because a lot of the kids came back and brought their kids.
Kris just got married a couple of weeks ago, so this is their baby (for now!).
Reily enjoyed some whipped cream. All the food was delicious.
Very patriotic.
We have one of these picture for every year.
Gramps and the kids. This is my dad's party, so he gets to hold the babies. It sort of worked.
Alex and Molly.
Brad, Georgie and Molly.

No better place to nap than in a Grandpa's lap.
All the "kids". We haven't had this many together in a long time.
